Product Review: Mamas and Papas Baby Bud booster seat
Disclosure: This is a product I bought myself, all opinions are my own.
Keep them close at mealtimes.
The Bud’s adjustable feet and harness attach to any chair, letting little ones take part in mealtimes.
With my first child we had a big bulky contraption that claimed to be compact. Then we were introduced to the simple, cheap and fabulous Ikea Antilop highchair. We kept it in the hope we would have another baby to use it for. That we did, for a short while. However I found the main drawback were the legs, I kept tripping over them!
So I went on the hunt for a booster seat to attach to a dining chair. I found the Baby Bud on offer. I love it. My little boy sits in it perfectly. We started using it when Pud was about 6 months old without any issues. It feels comfortable and I can see it lasting him for another couple of years possibly.
The only drawback of using a booster seat is that it takes up a seat at the dining table. So on the odd occasion when we have visitors, we get out the Ikea highchair too.
Pud has now managed to unclip the tray from the seat. I think he unclips it and lifts it up as his way of saying ‘finished’! Not good when there’s leftover food on his tray. He does seem happy to leave in place whilst he’s eating though. Sometimes we leave off the tray and push him up to the table.
Overall I love our Baby Bud booster seat and would definitely recommend it. Pud is happy in it too, which is the main thing!
