Bagging a Bargain Online

Why waste your time sales shopping in actual shops when all the stress can be removed by shopping online?

I’m always on the search for a bargain or something that is good value. I’ll often spend time comparing prices and checking out cash back opportunities for products. Recently I came across a website called Love The Sales, they aggregate sales from the top 700 retailers and display them all on one easy to navigate site. I have to admit that as much as I like a bargain I cannot handle physically going to the sales. Seriously, I get a form of road rage but in the shops!

So this website had me intrigued. Where there really any bargains?

Talk about getting distracted! As I searched the site for some lovely treats I came across a couple of products that I normally buy but guess what…cheaper!

I love my Elemis Hydra Balance Day Cream Moisturiser and I’m nearing the end, eeek! Luckily I now have one on the way priced at £29.95 instead of £39.00.

I also swear by using sunscreen on my face and prefer the mineral sunscreen that actually use ingredients such as zinc oxide to reflect the harmful rays and possibly provide better all round UV protection. I love Clinique Mineral Sunscreen, it doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy and doesn’t leave a white cast either. So I grabbed this at £19.80 instead of £22.00.

I also spied some other lovely items that I would love [have] to get soon…

At present we have a Canon DSLR which I do really love but it is so big and bulky and I would prefer to invest in a compact system camera such as this little beauty – The Canon EOS M10. It is aimed at a hobbyist and guess what, that’s me. I would love to place myself in the category of professional photographer and have swarms of people adore my photos on Instagram but I’m not. I think this camera would suit my needs perfectly. Any body have one? Thoughts please.

If you read one of my recent posts ‘5 Favourite Things’, you’ll see that I am in love with my Birkenstocks. The only shoes that I have had so far that don’t rub my paddle feet. I spotted this lovely pair and think I might just need to get some.

Also on the same recent post I listed my KitchenAid Kettle as a favourite item, after all it does provide me with my first cup of tea in the day. Problem is the toaster to match is a tad too expensive. The kettle was a bit of an impulse buy and maybe if I wait a while and sabotage the current toaster…I could have another impulse buy and get a KitchenAid toaster to match?

Honestly, there were so many bargains I could keep this list going but I’ll just mention one more item on my wish list, well more of a little something for my daughter. This is a brand I’ve never heard of but I’m really liking. Petit bateau. This stripy little number would be beautiful on my daughter, a perfect little summer dress.

Have you tried Love The Sales yet?

If not I urge you to take a look and grab a bargain, just beware and take note now that I’m giving you warning…you will end up spending money! (But it’s the sales, so you’re saving money too 😉 Happy shopping.

  1. Sounds like you got some great bargains! We have a kitchenaid toaster and I love it! Looks great on our worktop, and has certainly lasted us a long time so far! I was kindly given a Petit Bateau romper for Max when he was born by a generous friend and I love that too. Can’t wait to dig it out for Ben to wear! Thanks for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove

  2. We almost always shop online, not for the deals, but mainly because it frees up time we could spend on doing other things. Having said that, I wouldn’t say no to a bargain. Loads of fab picks there. #DreamTeam x
