This year really has flown by. It’s been a pretty big year across the world with all the heartache from terrorism and war, Brexit and Donald Trump being elected as the President of the USA. Not to mention the many losses of some famous names. On a positive note team GB did fantastic in the Olympics and Tim Peake completed a successful space mission.
For me this year has seen the birth of my beautiful son and my gorgeous girl starting school, developing our house into a home, the start of my blogs and many more moments that are etched into my memories.
It’s been difficult at times with the trials and tribulations of having a young baby to cope with and suffering sleep deprivation for nearly a year. However all in all it’s been a good year for me and my little family. A year for which I find many things to be grateful for.
This is the first Christmas for us as a family of four and it feels amazing. We’re spending the first half of the day at home, then a 40 minute drive to my sisters for Christmas Lunch then back to our home town to see the in-laws then finally back home for some much needed feet up and vino! It’s going to be a long day and I’m expecting some exhausted kids but I’m so excited. There’s something about having kids to enjoy Christmas with, it injects magic into the day and I love it.
