What My Kids Wear
The bold and the beautiful with Me&I
Where do you buy your kids clothes from? Are you a grab anything and hope you have something to match or do you carefully plan coordinated outfits? Lately I’ve been stuck in a rut and not been very explorative when it comes to my kids clothes. My shopping habits usually consist of grabbing items whilst doing my weekly supermarket shop or a quick run over to a retail park with the usual brands such as H&M and Next. I do love the variety and affordability supermarkets offer and in my opinion nice clothes don’t have to be expensive.
I do occasionally buy their clothes online but usually I shop in store. But with this habit I really think I’m missing out on so much more variety that is on offer.
Overall my kids are easy to dress. My daughter has an eclectic taste from frills to dungarees and well my son’s only request are that none of his clothes irritate his delicate little wrists? I don’t know what the issue is but he hates sleeves that go over his wrists.
Then along came Instagram and opened up a whole new world of choice and inspiration. I often see lots of fab Instagram photos of kids in brilliant colours and fab prints and I told myself I need to explore these brands more. I think Instagram is a fabulous way to find new brands and learn about them. I also think it’s great to support smaller businesses.
For me I want kids clothes to be colourful, hard wearing and comfortable.
Me&I are a Swedish clothing brand with a unique design and are made with comfort in mind. They strive to use responsibly sourced materials and work hard to ensure they know how their products are made from the first thread to the final product.
I was very pleased to be offered some samples from Me&I to try. I decided to take them with us to our recent trip to Bluestone, South Wales.
I love how vivid the colours are and the prints are just gorgeous. The fabric feels lovely, soft and of high quality. They wash without any issue and so far haven’t become misshapen in the wash.
Please note we were sent the spotty pants, crocodile t-shirt and motorbike long sleeved t-shirt for the purpose of this review, as always opinions and words are my own.
